We worked with Princess Cruises to christen their newest ship the Regal Princess and kick-off its 50th Anniversary celebration, by paying tribute to the iconic television show, The Love Boat.
With all six of the original cast members serving as the ship’s godparents, 25 of the show’s celebrity guest stars and more than 1600 guests, the celebration served as the biggest Love Boat reunion in three decades. We secured national and local media attendance and event coverage thanks to aggressive outreach and relationships with key entertainment, lifestyle and travel media.
More than 90 media outlets attended the event including Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, People, US Weekly and all broadcast network affiliates in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
To date, coverage has surpassed one billion impressions with 22 national broadcast segments including Good Morning America, TODAY, Fox News and E! News. The success of the event exceeded expectations and helped create one of the most memorable and successful events in Princess Cruises’ history.
